Rotary Club of Glen Cove 21st Annual Golf Tournament

The Rotary Club of Glen Cove will hold its annual flagship fundraiser, the club’s 21st Golf Outing, on July 25, 2016. The golf portion of the day will be held at the Glen Cove Golf Course on Lattingtown Road. Sign-in begins at 11:00 A.M, with a barbecue prior to the 1 P.M. tee-off Dinner and awards will immediately follow at the Metropolitan in Glen Cove.
A new feature of this year’s outing is an instructional golf option, which, upon request, invites novice golfers to participate in the outing with instruction from a golf pro.
The club will honor two former Rotarians, Nicholas DiLeo and Peter Patrissi. Both honorees are being recognized together for the third consecutive year. DiLeo was a member of the Glen Cove club prior to his passing in 2014.
Proceeds from the outing directly benefit the Glen Cove club’s winter project, Dress-A- Child. Members of the club accompany area children, who are in need of winter coats and accessories, on a shopping trip to Target each November. The children leave with bags filled with winter weather clothes. The club participates in several service projects throughout the year.
