DISTRICT GOVERNOR

Rose is a retired educator from Connetquot School District where she was employed for 22 years. She has been happily married to PDG Arnie Quaranta for 40 years, and together they have three children, Justin, Chelsea and Taylor.
Her Rotary journey started in 2010 as a member of The
Ronkonkoma Rotary Club, where she has had the honor to serve as Secretary for two years and President for one year. She also served as the Rotarian liaison for the Connetquot Interact Club for three years. Rose has also been very involved at the district level. She has served as the overall Youth Exchange Program Chair, the Rotary Friendship Exchange Co-chair, the Youth Services Chair, and the District Secretary. She proudly represented her district, serving as the overall registrar for the Mid Northeast Multi-District Presidents Elect Learning Seminar for five years.
Her membership in Rotary has also opened up many international opportunities, allowing her to travel and serve across the globe. Rose has traveled to India twice and participated in two National Immunization Days, where she administered polio vaccinations to young children alongside Rotarians from around the world. She has also travelled to Southwest Delhi, participating in a water project, helping to build a check dam to prevent harmful erosion in the local community.
Rose has attended five Rotary International Conventions and also participated as a panelist on Rotary Friendship Exchange at the International Convention in Germany. Rose and her family have also hosted dozens of Youth Exchange students and Friendship Exchange Rotarians throughout the years, hosting people from Germany, Hungary, Italy, India, Australia, Nigeria, and South Africa.
DISTRICT GOVERNOR ELECT
Pamela Greene (2027-2028)
One of Pamela Greene’s finest Rotary moments occurred in 2015 when she placed two drops of polio vaccine into the mouth of a small child in West Africa as part of a Rotary National Immunization Day (NID).
Others include serving as a host family for two children receiving life-saving heart surgery through Gift of Life, hosting visiting Rotarians from Puerto Rico, Brazil and Sweden and participating in a Friendship Exchange with The Royden Revolve Rotary Club in the UK.
Both Pam and her husband, Michael Dawidziak, are past Presidents of the Rotary Club of Sayville and have also been past Assistant District Governors.
In 2007, the couple founded The Rollstone Foundation, an all-volunteer 501c3 that raises funds to provide grants to families adopting orphans with special needs or who are at risk. To date, the Foundation has raised almost 2 million dollars and aided in the adoption of over 700 orphans from 39 Countries being adopted by families in 47 States in the United States.
Pam has worked for over 40 years in public service, both as an elected official and as an attorney in various levels of government. She currently serves as an Assistant Town Attorney for the Town of Babylon.
Mike and Pam are parents to 3 children, Erin, Katie and Mark, have15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. They are active parishioners at Our Lady of the Snow Roman Catholic Church in Blue Point.
While many Bible quotes speak to service, one Pam especially ascribes to is “Each of you should use whatever gifts you have received to serve others as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms”. (1 Peter 4:10)
